TotalEnergies in Italy adopts a procurement policy for goods, services, and works aimed at maximum transparency, competition, impartiality, confidentiality, and fairness, working with suppliers who, in addition to being able to meet the company's technical needs, have the best organizational structures, adopt the best standards in terms of quality, health, safety, environmental protection, and energy efficiency, and base their relationships on solid business ethics.
To verify the possession of these requirements, TotalEnergies in Italy has implemented a supplier pre-qualification system by product category based on predefined criteria compliant with mandatory and voluntary standards.
Submission of Qualification Applications
The qualification process is managed through a dedicated information system, within which each supplier can apply for the product categories of their competence.
To submit a qualification application, the interested party can write to the email address [email protected], sending:
- Their business registration certificate
Once the request is received and processed, if of interest, the supplier will receive an email invitation to complete the local-administrative questionnaire. Once this questionnaire is completed, the supplier will be registered in the information system.
For future participation in requests for offers, it will be up to TotalEnergies to invite the registered supplier to complete the qualification process through the completion of additional questionnaires, which may cover the following areas: anti-corruption, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), finance, technical, and corporate social responsibility.
The current validity of the qualification is three years, subject to TotalEnergies Italia's right to interrupt or suspend it early if one or more qualification requirements are no longer met.
